Anything Sis Can Do, I Can Do TOO!!
On the 4th of July we visited Grammie and Papa. All the Aunties were there, as well as cousin Liam. The girls had great fun swimming in the pool. Caroline was happy to show off what she learned in swim class the week before. As for our little "Cafrin", she was happy to show off that she can do anything big sis can do...at least in her own little mind. YOU GO, CATHERINE!!!

Recently my sister told me she couldn't view my videos on Facebook, but could on this blog. So these are repeats from Facebook for Tina's sake. Enjoy!

Winter Gymnastics: Caroline
Caroline enjoyed another session of Gymnastics. Her skills have improved greatly. Just look at this video--"No helping hands, Mom!" She's followed by friend, and preschool pal, Caitlin. They LOVE gymnastics!

Winter Fun and Adventures
Sledding is a must in order to enjoy the sunshine on a cold, snowy day. The girls enjoyed riding tandom, as well as solo.
Caroline, Daddy and Mommy went to see Disney on Ice! Ariel, Tinker Bell, and the Lion King skated, too. It was a lot of fun!
The winter of 2008-2009 brought tons of snow...70 inches or so. Normal is 42 inches for Westford. Nearly double the snow! Below is a picture when it was approximately 25+ inches high.
Signing up for energy burning classes was a must this winter. With tons of snow outside, and a baby sister who doesn't like the snow, Caroline resorted to organized activities like gymnastics.
Caroline took ballet this winter, too.
Daddy and Caroline ice skating--see video clip at bottom of post.
Caroline picked a pet..."Finn" the male Betta fish. She picked him herself...even though Mommy thought he looked a little sickly at the store. She was loyal to her first choice though--even with Mommy finding a purple one!
Caroline had her friends over for a "pajama party." It was the first morning of February break and everyone arrived in jammies. We enjoyed playing, breakfast, and then watched Horton Hears a Who. It was a great party for kids and moms alike.
2008 Holiday Season
This year was our first Christmas in New England...as residents of Massachusetts. It was absolutely a white Christmas. That was nice. (I've posted some of our favorite holiday pictures; however, the sequence is inverted. It might make more sense if you start at the bottom of this post and work your way to the top. Sorry.)
Liam and Caroline "chillin" after a long, but wonderful Christmas day in New England.
Caroline, Liam and Diane went sledding after dinner. Caroline had a blast!
Catherine enjoyed hanging with Auntie's Newfoundland, Flynn. He's a gentle giant!
There were lots of good gifts at Auntie Nancy's house!
Merry Christmas, Everyone!
Caroline got her first big-girl bike from Santa. She caught on very quickly!
Catherine's favorite toy was the Busy Ball Popper.
Catherine was a very good girl judging by Santa's wonderful pile of joys and toys!
Holy Santa, Caroline!
Frank and his Christmas angels ; )
We joined Didi, Liam, and Auntie Sue for Christmas Eve Mass. Afterward we all went to Auntie Sue's for Seafood Casserole. It was yummy!
Caroline's preschool had their "holiday sing-along" show. She was by far the most enthusiastic. She's such a little ham!
Caroline went to her first Nutcracker Ballet! Aunties Sue and Diane, cousin Liam and his friend, Mommy and Caroline went to the Boston Opera House for a magical show. Caroline really enjoyed herself!
The girls shared an "early" Christmas with Grammie and Papa before the two "snowbirds" returned to Florida. It was very nice.
Catherine and Caroline were very excited about Christmas. And remarkably, Catherine wasn't at all interested in touching the tree!
We got to meet Ms. Sandra's new baby, Isabella. Caroline and Catherine miss her very much, but are happy mom is staying home with them now. It was fun to see everyone--Santiago, Federico, Isabella, Lina, and Ms. Sandra!
